The Evolution of Communication

Almost everyone uses the common social media applications (Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WeChat etc.) to communicate with one another these days! Before these amazing applications are created, people communicate with one another mainly through calling, texting, writing letters and of course, speaking face-to-face. But would you prefer to use the old methods to keep in touch with your family and friends or the up-to-date social media applications?

Among the few means of communication to be chosen from in the past, most people prefer calling and writting letters because it allows immediate communication. However, phone bills can be a problem afterwards. Now, we don't have to spend much to communicate even with long distance relatives/friends! We are almost saying goodbye to writing letters because of alternative ways like writing emails, sending Whatsapp messages etc! Writing letters is inefficient to people because written communication is slow and letters may go missing on the way of deliver.

Teenagers especially, feel very connected to their friends by using social media applications like Twitter, Instagram etc. They get to know what their friends are doing almost every single time and can interact with out another wherever they go, as long as their smartphones are with them.

As the technology improves over time, communications are made easier through the internet. We can communicate without spending much wherever we go, thanks to the evolution of internet communication!
